That Treasured Time!

Ahhh...what a glorious day!  Seven days ago it was 20 degrees and snowing.  Today, it's 70!!  A perfect time to sit out on the deck and witness His glories!

Finally!  A day so bright and
beautiful to be!
The flurries flying sideways, they
are nowhere near to me!
Standing on the deck that's
overlooking hills and trees
I converse with Jesus Christ
in the gentle breeze.
He's come this afternoon because
He knows of life of late.
The stress and the intensity
have been so very great!
And not just life ABOUT, but life
and living in its whole!
He's here to talk, to listen, to
encourage and make whole!

Again, required moments in
a necessary place
provided by a loving God
with never-ending grace!
I will enjoy this respite from
the daily everyday,
and the priceless company of
The Truth, The Life, The Way!

No matter who you are, life gets to you.  I know that.  You know that.  But, more importantly, GOD KNOWS THAT!  That's why He provides places like this, if only for a little while, to recoup, recover and restore so that we can press on!  ENJOY EACH MOMENT OF IT!
